Hair transplant photo checklist
A consistent record for your next clinic conversation.
Before taking or comparing photos
- Use the same angle for each comparison. Keep hairline, crown, sides and donor-area views clearly labelled.
- Choose similar lighting and background. Avoid comparing a bright flash photo with one taken in shadow.
- Keep camera distance and head position as similar as you can.
- Use the original date when adding an older photo to your record.
- Keep original photographs without cosmetic retouching or filters.
- Note differences in lighting, angle or hair length that could affect a comparison.
